To disable mods so you can go online, all you need to do is rename the file called dinput8.dll to 1dinput8.dll and it will disable mods. Rename that file back to dinput8.dll when you want to play your modded story mode. Remove any scripts or plugins you have though just to be sure. 1. Reply.

FiveM will work. Regular GTA Online won't. You'll get banned, or you just won't be able to connect. If you use OpenIV, you can stream the mods from a different directory so that they don't directly replace the original files, you just tell the game to load files from a different folder instead.
