I have searched the discussions and I see that most are preferring to turn those popular now items (that appear across the bottom of the Bing homepage) off. I have even read how to disable it.

You're absolutely right. I didn't mind using Bing to search when there was no cooldown. They can know about me in exchange for store credit/ gift cards. Google already does and I don't get any points from them for it. But with the cooldown, it's extremely inconvenient to use them to search now.

Bing homepage image and popular now boxes missing.
The image on my Bing homepage, as well as the Popular now icons, are missing. I have a blank gray page with a Bing search in the middle. How do I get the daily image back, as well as the popular now boxes at the bottom of the page? I haven't changed anything on my computer. Those were all of a sudden"missing today.
