I'm sure most of us have heard that saturated fats are solid at room temperature, and unsaturated fats are liquid at room temperature. I'm wondering how this relates to their chemical structure -- saturated fats contain only single bonds between carbons, yet to qualify as an unsaturated fat a C=C double bond must exist.

For temperature above 0 Kelvin and 273.15 Kelvin (0 Celsius) or below then water condensing from the atmosphere would form ice. For temperature between 0 Celsius and 100 Celsius liquid water would condense. Above 100 Celsius water wouldn't condense unless the gas phase of the system was under pressure. Share.

If the door of the refrigerator is kept open, the room in which the refrigerator is kept: gets cooled or heated depending on the initial temperature of the room. The answer mentioned is option b) gets heated It doesn't seem convincing that on opening refrigerator's door the room gets heated. Also the radiator emits out the heat in the surrounding.

If there is a compound with critical parameters sufficiently near standard, you could touch liquid-like, not gas-like supercritical fluid.
