CL is still a good place to buy (or at least search since selection is smaller) because it tends to be cheaper than FB. I think you’d get lower prices selling though. 5. yachtiewannabe. • 2 yr. ago. I don't know anyone who uses craigslist anymore. I think it's mostly fb marketplace and dedicated FB groups.

Additionally, Craigslist took a hit in 2018 when they decided to shut down the Personals sections of their US sites. Congress had just passed the Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act, which allowed sex trafficking victims to sue the websites that helped facilitate their trafficking.

I’m apartment hunting right now. Thought I’d look at Craigslist to see about landlords privately renting apartments / homes. I noticed there’s actually just a lot of complexes advertising individual apartments on the site. But Does anyone have tips or tricks on what to look out for, horror stories (or good ones).

From my experience, and years of it totally literally hundred of encounters with Craigslist, no…it’s not dangerous. But it could be. Just like life in general. If it is not Craigslist automatically removing my post due to some word or phrase triggering it, then I really think the most logical explanation is that it is one person trying to remove competition. On a side note, that person you mentioned lives in another state, therefore ...

Portland freaking loves Craigslist! I’ve actually had pretty decent luck on NextDoor either selling things or offering stuff for free. People have been reliable about coming to pick things up and paying. I deleted my Facebook about a year ago, and that’s the one thing I miss about it. The marketplace is where it’s at.
