I am trying to create a hamburger menu in xaml, but zero success. I was trying to use the samples provided [here][1], but zero success. My idea is to create a view model that has a list of FlyoutItems then inject this view model to the AppShell.
3. Solution for FlyoutPage. The Flyout of the FlyoutPage is of type ContentPage and thus the icon should be set there instead: IconImageSource="custom_menu_icon.png" />. You can also define it in the Styles.xaml and assign the style to the page: <Setter Property="IconImageSource" Value="custom_menu_icon.png" />.
I didn't exactly follow through because I had to change my CSS because I had an image logo. When I was attempting to make the hamburger menu, I couldn't see all my nav-links in a column. Just to clarify, I want to make the hamburger lines on the right side and make it function like an app.

In MainPage.xaml, I added a button which when pressed sends the user to the second page. await Shell.Current.GoToAsync(nameof(SecondPage), true); This all works. But, while on the first page we can see the Hamburger icon. When arriving on the second page from the button click, we see a back button and no hamburger icon.
