RTSS w/o afterburner, hotkey to turn off FPS in game
What is the key for rivatuner statistics server without MSI Afterburner running at the same time to shut off the FPS display in-game? I tried to use control - f12 like I could if I had both running but it didn't shut off the display. Again, I like it better with only RTSS running without afterburner.

The Tool DesktopOverlayHost is completely open source, you can edit and make it behave like you want it to. Have a look in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\SDK\Tools\DesktopOverlayHost. So the answer is yes, but you should be able to code in c++. Andy_K, Oct 22, 2021. #4.

Press Ok on the rest of the open tabs and select the"Full Control" setting on the Permission Entry Window. 10.-. Press Ok, exit out of the application, and startup RivaTuner through the searchbar. If the application doesn't show up on the taskbar, check the icons in the bottom right corner and it should be there.

It would be nice if you're settings in the program actually turned off rivatuner after they were unselected (aka turned off after being turned on). Hell even the cfg files dont do that. it would also be nice if your ever-so-omnipotent program developer brain could make the settings do what they should and not be a condescending troll when some ...

RTSS Required DirectX runtimes not installed, OSD may not function ...
I've tried reinstalling video drivers and set RTSS.exe to run on AMD card in AMD software settings. Apparently DirectX 9 applications OSD works but not other versions of DirectX. This might be Windows 10 problem or DirectX installation problem but any suggestion for a fix is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Cannot update nor uninstall: Rivatuner statistics server is currently ...
Close MSI Afterburner completely. Then end all tasks with"RTSS" name in task manager. run the installation and"ignore" when it prompts you about closing other bunch of programs. Uninstall and Reboot is unnecessary / pointless, unless you also bother to turn off running Afterburner with Windows.
