Connect the data from CoinGecko to Excel. In Excel, we need to make a connection to the data so we can query it from our Worksheet with our portfolio data. To do this, navigate to the 'Data' tab in the ribbon and click on"From Web" in Get & Transform Data (this might be elsewhere on different versions of Excel):

Alternate solution: you can create read only api's for the exchanges that you are using & import them in blockfolio app it will load all transaction automatically. (Remember this will take some time to sync ) I'd suggest Coinstats, but I don't if they have automatic connection with coingecko portifolio, although I think they use coingecko API ...

I collect Coingecko Candies, Coinmarketcap Diamonds, Stakingrewards hearts daily. Almost have enough candy for the advanced DeFi book. It's a nightly ritual for me after dinner I collect all my freebies, enter the current market price for my assets into a shell script I wrote to track them, claim validator staking rewards, etc..

Overall I prefer CoinMarketCap's UI being a lot more modern and cleaned up, but I see the appeal in CoinGecko's simplicity and layout. Features: CoinMarketCap offers more in terms of functionality and makes its features more accessible. CoinMarketCap includes a converter, watch list, price alerts and a news feed which I found very useful.

I've tried doing that, it works but somehow is also really buggy, since the coingecko profile somehow thinks 30+1,99 = 32,10. PS: If you need help hit me up, i like programming aswell :D. I use the Coingecko app and it’s great. You can create a favourites list to follow only the coins you want to see and can even add your amounts to keep track of your gains or losses. They also have a cool currency calculator and the candies for daily use is a free reward. The news feed is regularly updated as well. I’m a big fan of Coingecko.
