Doing so will open a window labelled “Microphone Properties.”. - Click on the “Levels” tab. Here you should see two sliders, one for your microphone’s volume, and one called Microphone Boost. - Your microphone’s volume should already be at 100 percent. If for some reason it is not, go ahead and move the slider up to 100 percent.

I want to apologize if you encountered this issue. I understand you have a problem with headset microphone not working. How do you connect your Headset with mic on your computer? If you're using a desktop computer, Please try to connect the microphone either in the front panel or at back of the cpu.

however, the microphone on my laptop, as well as on my headset, is not working. when i check with device manager it says the drivers are working properly However, all laptop microphones as well as headphones using realtek(R) audio driver do not work, other types of headphones using other drivers work normally (tested with AKG samsung S20 headphones)

I'm trying to only use my headset's microphone, but there's no option. Only the Microphone Array, which I'd rather not use, alongside my headset being detected as headphones. The only option to change things around for me is the Realtek Audio Console which doesn't seem to be much help. The specific model of the headset I use is the Turtle Beach Recon 70, if anyone is able to help.

Open Device Manager >> click sound, video and game controllers >> right- click your Audio driver >> click Update Driver. If the system says that you have the latest driver installed. Try to Roll back the driver. Right-click your Audio driver >> click Properties >> click Driver tab >> click Roll back driver. 2.
