Despite being on the weight loss surgery path via NHS, I've been unable to get initiated on GLP-1RA medication like Ozempic through my GP, even though I have Type 2 diabetes. However, I'm still interested in using GLP-1RA medication to help with weight loss. Can anyone suggest private healthcare providers who can prescribe GLP-1RA medication ...

Ozempic had been mentioned before and I’d said no but decided to give it a go. I’ve now taken 0.25 for four weeks and then 0.5 for 7 weeks. I’ve been taking insulin consistently and testing blood sugars regularly, and my blood sugars have started coming down in the last 6 weeks, dropping gradually through that time. For the last four weeks I’ve been counting calories, eating well ...

As far as the Ozempic is concerned it's a bit of a non event. No bad or particularly good effects at present. I'm on Ozempic and haven't really noticed much in the side effects after the first couple of weeks of my diabetic diagnosis. I was on insulin at the start too, so didn't know what side effects were associated with that, Ozempic, or metformin. Right now, I've got no problems with it. On the 1.0 dose and it seems fine. I guess taking the insulin ...

Hello everyone. I’m searching for some good news stories about Ozempic as I’ve been put on it by the consultant. Also I thought the initial dose was 0.25 and I’ve been sent 0.5 so have queried it with my GP. I am really not keen on starting it, mostly due to side effects, when I am already a...
